New Song at Muffitland...
Happy Monday everyone. Just a quick note to let ya know, I finally created the instrumental version of "Fine China" on my website. It's available for both streaming and/or download. Use "Play it Now" and choose Fine China to stream (for fast connections), or simply right click Fine China under Downloads to download it to your system.
Fine Ciina is about a little 9 year old girl named Terry whom I knew during her bout with cancer. Tragically, she passed away just after Christmas a year later (her Christmas present was a prosthetic leg for the one they removed to try and save her).
One thing struck me so deeply about this experience. Her faith was so incredibly strong, yet one thing she said brought me to tears, and to write this song. She told her mom one day, "I know I'm going to God, but if I'm going to God, why does it hurt so bad??". To this day it brings tears.
