Wink It's a Crazy World!!!

Yes, yes, highly yep, it's a crazy mixed up world we live in. I kid you not. Today I had to take a long drive somewhere I've never been. I was prepared with directions AND a map. So what's the purpose in all that preparation when you reach a sign as follows:

"<--- Route XX West, Route YY West --->"

The sign clearly had arrows pointing in DIFFERENT directions - but somehow contrary to nature, BOTH ways are still West!! Hello??? Is there anyone aboard???

Then I get this ad in the mail. It says, and I quote, "Fixed Rate Adjustable Mortgage". What the frack is THAT??? Which is it? Fixed or adjustable??? How can it be /fixed/ if it's an adjustable mortgage???

I tell ya, this world is as crazy as it comes. Lucky for me there's Quiznos. At the end of a rough and tumble day, I can relax and stuff my face with a Spicy Monterey Club and a Cherry Coke. At least THOSE are normal.

Oh wait - "cherry" is never used to flavor "cherry" drinks - they use almond extract. I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sounds like an adequate description of what it is like to be in my family. Like I told the hubby, you don't have to be nuts to be in my family, it just helps.

Wink

my family are a bit on the nutty side. As far as hubby's family, I get along with my mother in law she is great fun to be around, she's every bit as goofy as I.
