The drinks are on me - CFF party thread
Blue koolaid is still "at your own risk", and all non-alcoholic alternatives and variations thereof.
I said the drinks are on me when we passed the $10,000 mark, so stop in order up, kick back and rejoice.
Thank you to everyone for your participation.

I don't care - if it's wet, vaguely alcoholic, and free, pour away!
Except for gin. I really don't like gin.
Or ouzo. Can't drink ouzo. Licorice - *shudder*
So I guess ambrosia or ale is it - I'm not willing to go through the blue koolaid experience again!
I am

Ambrosia! Goes back and pulls together the hidden case remnants that the beavers stole over a year ago: We are well stocked with Ambrosia tonite!

My normal tipple would be Romulan Ale (I know it's illegal!) but for tonight I think I'll go for some vintage Ambrosia.
Cheers!

$10,000?!?!?!?!?!?! That is WONDERFUL! Definitely cause for a pahr-TAY! I'll take some of that 1978 ambrosia, it was definitely a good year, but I was only six so I didn't get a chance to get it on the first go-round.

Last time I had Romulan ale, my wife had to drive me home. Thats some seriously powerful sh*t. They told me the recipe, but I don't remember it... Two sips and I was done. I remember blue caracca and everclear...
Here's a question, has anyone actually come up with a recipe for ambrosia? I mean come on, every legitimate fan base has to have some kind of alcoholic mixed beverage they can really celebrate with.
If there is one, let me know by Wednesday, cause Thursday we make up the drinking game.
If not, well lets get crackin! Everyone empty their liquor cabinets!
BTW- When CFF opened up I thought "Man, there is no way they're gonna raise $10,000 to do that." But I also thought "What the hell, its a worthy cause, I contribute anyways..." Now I'm so damn proud of everyone. I hope it gets peoples attention. And if it doesn't, oh well, at least we'll get another alcoholic drink out of it.

I've never seen one, but I recommend mixing mead (it's very sweet and golden the way I would expect ambrosia to be) with some butt-kickin' type alcohol. Any suggestions? I'm willing to be the guinea pig for the testing phase of this experiment.
