More like getting tired of you and people like your boss Michael Faries working to derail revival efforts that do not involve both your guys other boss Richard Hatch.

Hi Hito,
Let me clear something up here:
1.) I am not LordStarFyre's "boss."
2.) Richard Hatch is not LordStarFyre's "boss."
I don't appreciate the inferences.
There's obviously no love lost between you and LordStarFyre. There is something that I wish you would acknowledge, though.
BattlestarGalactica.com (owned by Richard Hatch; maintained and funded by myself) has not disregarded the new "Battlestar Galactica" remake series. In fact, we have a section dedicated to it, linked from the main home page, just as we link to sections on the original Battlestar Galactica series and Richard's "The Second Coming" endeavor. We've offered sections to both Glen Larson and Tom DeSanto, both of whom have given it consideration. (In one case, the production goals aren't firm enough to showcase any content right now; in the other, it's a matter of receiving the actual content.)
The new "Battlestar Galactica" remake production has chosen not to associate with established BG web sites, instead doing guerilla marketing (in my opinion) via newer web sites, mainly by fans trying to get information (and doing a good job at that).
The bulk of communications received at BattlestarGalactica.com and BattlestarPegasus.com have been
against the new production. Yet we continue, in the case of BattlestarGalactica.com in particular, to have a section which promotes the new series.
Richard Hatch could very, VERY easily have chosen to diss the new production and turn the web sites into a tour de force which smear the new production. Yet in every communication within his newsletters (see:
http://www.richardhatch.com for example), he has been diplomatic, supportive and constructive with his thoughts to the fanbase.
Read the "About the Site" section of BattlestarGalactica.com for starters. See what we wrote back in 1999. It's still valid. It's only natural that we still want to see the original "Battlestar Galactica" series preserved and respected in some way.
Edward James Olmos (the new Commander Adama) (
link) says "If I were a purist, I wouldn't watch it. Don't waste your time. Get the old version on DVD. Don't hurt yourself. Don't go through the pain." It's beyond obvious that we have a fractured show which doesn't appeal to the fanbase at large. Now we have fans in-fighting like crazy because they've been working for years to see BG returned -- and Universal's realization of that effort has
ignored what fans were hoping for.
If the new production wants to participate with news and information, they're welcome to do so.
We've told them this on more than one occasion. The main agenda we've seen from them, though, is trying to get mass original series fan acceptance -- which isn't happening -- for a product which the fans haven't been rallying for years to receive. It didn't happen with the script which was provided to me and others for review; it hadn't happened previously with the September 2002 Q&A session that Mr. Moore participated in.
Hito, you seem to argue for the mere sake of doing so. I wish you'd drop the attitude and realize that we can agree to disagree. But the attitude you're embracing against me isn't making matters better. (Especially when I've already tried to make things better with you recently and yet this sour attitude of yours is still sadly prevalent.)
Let's agree to disagree, alright? When the show airs, I'll look forward to sharing objective ideas with you.
Michael
