Default I've Come Home

Hello to everyone again.
I have been mostly away for a long time, several years actually.
My time away has felt like being in another universe.
Over three years ago, I fell in love with someone whom I shared a universe of things in common with. We became fast best friends, so I believed.
The love was so strong between us.
I felt finally, he's the one.

Then recently, it ended.
Leaving me with a shattered heart.
Lost and confused, I have been. Not understanding where it all went wrong. I am left with unanswered questions.

The one thing that stays at the centre of my heart had always been the friendships I have made here so long ago.

It feels like I packed my stuff and got back into my viper and launched without looking back, even though there were an abundance of tears in my eyes.
I flew and flew the situation and heartbreak, until I found myself returning to the warm glow of the landing bay lights here back at the Fleets. My first and only home on the net.
I have missed the people here and the friends I know.
I don't normally bare my soul, but there it is anyhow.

So..hope to get back into the throng of my favourite subject topics on BSG and have great chats and laughs I always have here with wonderful people here.
Siress Sarika coming in for landing....

Never ever ever give your heart to anyone. Like the Aztecs, they'll rip it out, and you'll be hurt.
That being said, welcome back. Ambrosia, or Skorpian Ale?

Sorry to hear the news but, that doesn't diminish my joy at seeing you in this corner of the universe again.

Till this site breathes its last breath, it will be your home. Don't let that thought go.

Welcome back, m'dear!!

Sorry to hear of your troubles, Sarika. Being blindsided sucks.

When you've finished charming the lads, here, we'll take off for a girls night in and stick that broken heart back together with a viewing of War of the Gods, copious chocolate, a bottle of vintage A, and a box of kleenex.

After all, a heart of gold is maleable, valuable and indestructable, even if it gets bent out of shape sometime..

WTF? Re: I've Come Home

Gentlemen, our manners (and yes, I include my own) suck.

We're quick to pony up libations for our male prodigals, but not for our ladies?

Sarika, my dear, for you with heartfelt apologies:

Barkeep, her cubits are no good tonight.

Welcome home.

And welcome home to you, too, Nightscape!

I just got bummed they turned Richard hatch
Into a bad guy and put him in a airlock on bsg then
Great War of Magellan didn't get made.

Yep, all is well.... little bit older, lot more gray!!

Sorry to hear about the ups and downs but, glad to hear that you're able to be involved in your daughter's upbringing. It's a way to teach the child a first-hand lesson about responsibility and having priorities in the right place. Family first, everything else second.

Just remember, as long as this place exists, you're always welcome here!!

Thanks everyone for all the great posts, I love hearing from you all!
Now.. forgive me, Nightscape, I don't believe I've had the pleasure of being acquainted with you before.
However, it's great to meet you now, so thanks for your kind thoughts.
