Yeh, I've seen it. I'm just warning you all that if you use some offical dimentions, it still may not look right.
If you look at this page you'll see what I mean https://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/bop-size.htm
Here is a whole sub-directory on problems like that one. https://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles.htm
I'm just a Trekkie trying to warn you of sizing problems in Trek. And the best people to talk to about them are on that forum I posted above (PS I wasnt trying to advertise that forum, just help you out. If its Trek, they know it)
And thanks Steve that is a great site, just like most sites, the Trek sizing may not be right.

I love this site. I had heard a long time ago it was about a mile or so and if you look at the prominade and compare the people inside, it seems about right. When I did the model I tried to find out but that was all I could find out

The same problems exist in Galactica. The issue is particularly bad in shows and films that used the old multi shot composite method to create the ships, which is where the issue of the Bird-of-Prey comes in (all shows before 3rd season of ST:TNG). My problem with Trek is that for years, even after they had gone totally digital, they still seemed to have problems with this. B-5 really pioneered space effects with structured model sizes that accruately interacted.

I missed the vipers the first time I looked at this. Maybe you could drop them a little so that they are angeling up toward the landing. Or Steve's suggestion about more light might do the trick. Nice work all the same.

Both craft look as if they are equipped with control surfaces. Maybe as back-up in an atmosphere if the primary system should fail?
