JRR Tolkin fans?
I just found this website and I thought it was cool for those that love Lord of The Rings.......you can find your Elf and Hobbit names.....these would also make great names for Galactica characters.
My Elf name is....Galadriel Alcarin.
My Hobbit name is Lobelia Dogwood of Shadydowns.
You can use name variations and middle names to get a variety.

Oh you know what? I found this and shared it with the people on another site I frequent, and they liked it so much, that a special forum was created. You had to get a name, and them create an account with that name, and only using that account could you post in the forum.
My name for the forum is Belladonna Boffin of Deephallow.

I am so glad you like it. Here is the link for the Council of Elrond. I really enjoy it there. It has so many intresting facts and trivia and great links to go to. They even have a section for learning the Elvish language. I do believe there is a link for a dictionary.....

You know what? I just checked it, and it's not the same one. The one I found was a Middle Earth name generator.

Yeah, that one was over there too, but I found the names hard to pronounce. The one I have is Sindarin which is the language the wood Elves use in the movie. I think the Barrows site also gives names for Orks and Ents and a couple others in Middle earth. They are both cool sites, but I find the Sindarin an easier language.

I got Seremela for Boxey. You always have to put a last name in too..You can use any name. Sometimes I use Fox or Doe. I don't remember if they ever said Boxey's last name..That is a good question...

Well, if we do, then there must be a Dark Lord Mooron, and his most feared servants, the Hammer-Wraiths, ensconced in the hideous fortress of Scifi-Dur.:p

Had some fun with this, instead of using my name to generate the hobbit and elf names, I tried my handle - here's what I came up with:
Hobbit - Falco Burrows
Elf - Mahtan Saralonde
